Job Introduction
About the role
The Facilities Technician is required to support the maintenance and upkeep of Semiconductor Processing site facilities and associated equipment. This role focusses on buildings and facilities reliability and efficiency through preventative maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
Work safely across all facility environments, following required protocols and procedures
Maintain site cleanliness through scheduled housekeeping tasks
Comply with all EHS, health & safety, HR, environmental, quality, cybersecurity, ISO, and regulatory requirements
Follow company policies, SOPs, work instructions, and record-keeping standards
Safely handle chemicals and substances, including proper use of PPE
Perform preventive maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly) on facility systems
Support supervised troubleshooting and repair of facilities equipment and tools
Operate and maintain HVAC, BMS, EMS, and general facility systems
Use computerized systems to document work accurately and ensure traceability
Assist with hazardous maintenance activities, including use of SCBA/breathing air hoods
Maintain and refurbish facilities support equipment to required quality standards
Collaborate across departments and support a team-based work environment
Participate in safety initiatives and Emergency Response Team (ERT) activities
Coordinate with subcontractors for maintenance, servicing, and repairs
Complete required training and competency approvals on time
Work flexible hours as required to support business needs
Perform other duties as assigned
About you
Experience working in a facilities or technical environment
1–2 years of facilities experience
Background in a hands-on technical role
Remuneration working with subcontractors and external service providers
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
2-Year/ Associate’s degree in an Engineering or related technical field.
