About the role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will be responsible for the preparation of Group financial analysis including monthly management accounts, reforecasts and budgets.


Main Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly group consolidated income statement, balance sheet and cashflows with supporting analysis and schedules
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for reporting to the Executive Leadership Team
  • Ownership and control of the end to end financial reporting of the IQE plc head office entity
  • Preparation of monthly consolidated reforecasts including key sales, margin and cost analysis
  • Preparation of the IQE plc entity and group consolidated budget with supporting analysis and schedules
  • Assisting in the audit process for IQE plc and group consolidation
  • Preparation of tax packs for IQE plc
  • Take on work and support the teams as required, prioritising tasks around deadlines


About you

  • An appropriate financial or accounting qualification
  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP, experience of multicurrency groups preferable
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel
  • Evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and a service orientated approach 
  • Ability to work hands-on, autonomously and as part of a team 
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage conflicting demands
