About the role

The Facilities Technician is required to support the maintenance and upkeep of Semiconductor Processing site facilities and associated equipment. This role focusses on buildings and facilities reliability and efficiency through preventative maintenance and repairs

About you

Key Requirements for the Facilities Technician:

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while thriving in a team environment. 
  • Computer Literacy: Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).                                                     
  • Able to follow detailed instructions to completion.                                                     
  • Has a clear commitment to health and safety protocols, and a proactive mentality to ensure the safety of others.          
  • Has a commitment to quality.                                                     
  • Has a willingness to learn and develop.                                                
  • Has particular attention to detail.                                                           
  • Has technical analytical skills.
  • Able to resolve routine issues on key equipment. 
  • Willing and able to wear a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)/Breathing Air Hood, as required.   
  • Able to supervise subcontractors, ensuring all work is executed in a safe and proper manner, adhering to site protocols.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of managing own work and deliverables with little supervision.

 Experience Requirements for the Facilities Technician:


  • Hands-on experience with Vaisala temperature, pressure, and humidity sensors and transmitters.
  • Experience working with Rosemount pressure and temperature transmitters.
  • Familiarity with Kele temperature sensors and transmitters.
  • Proficient in using the Fluke 754 Process Calibrator.
  • Experience with Fluke DPCTrack2 Calibration Management Software.
  • Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards is a plus.
  • Advanced experience in Facilities operations and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated technical and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues effectively.
  • Experience working with subcontractors and coordinating maintenance or project activities.
  • Experience working in a technical or industrial environment, preferably within manufacturing or semiconductor operations.
  • Ability to perform repair and preventive maintenance on process control equipment, electrical distribution systems, and instrumentation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation, troubleshooting, calibration, and testing.

 Qualification Requirements for the Facilities Technician:

  • Level 4 Qualification or 2-Year/Associate’s degree in an Engineering or related technical field.
  • Specialized technical qualifications relevant to the role.
