About the role

  • Ensure business continuity by driving materials supply and availability in order to satisfy SIOP requirements.
  • To support business optimum performance, identifying potential supply issues, manage projects, achieve
  • results within quality improvements, delivery excellence and cost control
  • This is a 15 hours role.


Main Responsibilities

  • Act as primary point of contact for all invoice enquiries via phone and email.
  •  Assist the finance team with task such as, processing invoices.
  • General administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, accessing suppliers portals.
  • Adherence to all internal safety, HR, environmental and quality guidelines & procedures.
  • Support of supplier quality audits.
  • Adhere to all internal safety, HR, environmental and quality guidelines and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to all COSHH/COMAH/ADR regulations in all procurement activities linked to raw materials and hazardous goods


About you

  • Awareness, knowledge and experience of Lean Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience of procurement and logistics within an established manufacturing or service environment.
  • Familiarisation with ISO9001:2008 quality systems, with key strengths in Purchasing & logistics aspects of the standard.
  • Driver License
  • Hazardous Goods Handling awareness
  • Basic COSHH/COMAH/ADR Awareness
