About the role
- Ensure business continuity by driving materials supply and availability in order to satisfy SIOP requirements.
- To support business optimum performance, identifying potential supply issues, manage projects, achieve
- results within quality improvements, delivery excellence and cost control
- This is a 15 hours role.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as primary point of contact for all invoice enquiries via phone and email.
- Assist the finance team with task such as, processing invoices.
- General administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, accessing suppliers portals.
- Adherence to all internal safety, HR, environmental and quality guidelines & procedures.
- Support of supplier quality audits.
- Adhere to all internal safety, HR, environmental and quality guidelines and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to all COSHH/COMAH/ADR regulations in all procurement activities linked to raw materials and hazardous goods
About you
- Awareness, knowledge and experience of Lean Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management.
- Experience of procurement and logistics within an established manufacturing or service environment.
- Familiarisation with ISO9001:2008 quality systems, with key strengths in Purchasing & logistics aspects of the standard.
- Driver License
- Hazardous Goods Handling awareness
- Basic COSHH/COMAH/ADR Awareness
